As the old adage goes, "Location, location, location," and when it comes to special events, we would definitely agree. The right environment can make your gatherings infinitely more enjoyable and successful. For almost 40 years, the Sawmill Inn of Grand Rapids has hosted hundreds of events ranging from planning meetings, to conferences of every kind, to depositions, as well as small intimate social gatherings. Our event center has over 10,000 square feet of meeting space with six flexible meeting rooms with a total theater-style seating for 900. If your event is off premise, we offer off-site catering for large or small groups.

Meetings

The casual and comfortable atmosphere is the ideal location for you and your colleagues to take a fresh look at trouble-shooting or brainstorming. Meeting rooms vary in size to accommodate groups from 5 to 500, depending on your seating requirements. We offer full menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Morning and afternoon refreshments are also available. Meal service can be provided in your meeting room or your group may enjoy eating poolside. Our entire facility offers wireless internet access and if we do not have your audio-visual needs available, we can help you with rental arrangements.

Corporate Events

Many companies have used the Sawmill Inn for large corporate parties and functions. One of our main floor event rooms accommodates 265 people for a stand-up cocktail party. Our lower level room can accommodate 350 people for a sit-down dinner. It also can seat up to 450-theater style for union meetings or shareholder meetings. A cocktail/ hors d'oeuvre party or special customized chef's dinner makes a special reward for your employees or clients. Our central location makes us convenient and easy to find. Our large parking lot can accommodate vehicles of almost any size.

With two of our local championship golf courses giving us a great discounted rate, we will be able to set up an affordable corporate golf outing for you and your clients or employees.
